Do we need new hardware?
Usually not. Halden connects to the meters, building management systems and utility accounts you already have. Where a site has no metering, we ship clip-on sensors that take an hour to fit.
How quickly will we see savings?
Most teams act on their first findings within two weeks of connecting a building. The early fixes are usually schedule and setpoint changes, such as plant that runs overnight or heating in empty rooms. The savings report at day 30 measures each change against the building's own baseline.
Which reporting frameworks do you support?
Halden prepares CSRD, GRESB, ENERGY STAR, SECR and NABERS reports from the same metered data, so the figures agree across every submission. Your auditor can have read-only access to the readings behind each number.
Is our data secure?
Halden is audited every year against SOC 2 Type II and certified to ISO 27001. You choose EU or US hosting, and your meter data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Can Halden change settings on its own?
Only inside limits you set, such as comfort bands, occupancy hours and equipment you mark as off limits. Every change is logged with the reason it was made, and anyone on your team can roll it back.
